InboxReaper ("we", "our", or "us") is a Chrome Extension that helps users bulk-delete emails from their Gmail inbox. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

By installing and using InboxReaper, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Google Account Information

When you sign in with Google, we collect:

• Your Google User ID (a unique numeric identifier assigned by Google)
• Your Gmail address

This information is used solely to identify your account within InboxReaper.

1.2 Gmail Metadata

InboxReaper accesses your Gmail inbox to display emails grouped by sender. We access only the following metadata:

• Sender name and email address
• Email subject lines
• Email date and time
• Gmail label information (e.g. Promotions, Social)
• List-Unsubscribe headers (to identify mailing lists)

1.3 Payment Information

If you purchase the 48-hour Unlimited Cleaning Pass, payment is processed by Razorpay. We do not collect or store your card number, UPI ID, bank account details, or any other financial information. We store only a record that a payment was made (order ID, payment ID) and when your access expires.

1.4 Usage Data

We collect the following to enforce our quota system:

• Number of emails trashed through InboxReaper
• Whether you have an active paid subscription and when it expires
• Timestamps of account creation and last activity

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect exclusively to:

• Authenticate your identity and provide access to InboxReaper
• Display your Gmail inbox metadata within the extension
• Enforce the free quota and grant paid access upon payment
• Process and verify payments through Razorpay
• Maintain records of your access status

We do not use your information for advertising, marketing, profiling, or any purpose beyond providing the InboxReaper service.

3. Information We Do NOT Collect

• We do not read, scan, index, or store the content or body of your emails
• We do not collect passwords or authentication credentials
• We do not collect device identifiers, IP addresses, or browser fingerprints
• We do not use cookies or third-party tracking
• We do not collect information from contacts in your Gmail
• We do not collect any information from other Google services

4. How We Store and Protect Your Information

Your account information and usage data are stored in Google Cloud Firestore, hosted in the asia-south1 (Mumbai) region. All data in transit is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS. Your Gmail access token is stored locally on your device in Chrome's local storage and is never transmitted to our servers.

5. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information with any third party for commercial purposes. We share data only with:

• Google LLC — Gmail API access, OAuth authentication, and cloud infrastructure
• Razorpay Financial Solutions Pvt. Ltd. — payment processing

6. Google API Services User Data Policy

InboxReaper's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:

• We only request the gmail.modify scope, the minimum required to list and trash emails
• We use Gmail data only to provide the InboxReaper service directly to you
• We do not transfer Gmail data to third parties except as necessary to provide the service
• We do not use Gmail data for advertising or to train machine learning models
• We do not allow humans to read your Gmail data

7. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as you use InboxReaper. To request deletion of your data, contact us below. We will delete your data within 30 days of your request.

8. Your Rights

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Revoke InboxReaper's access at any time via myaccount.google.com/permissions

9. Children's Privacy

InboxReaper is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of InboxReaper after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.

1. About InboxReaper

InboxReaper is a Chrome Extension that allows users to bulk-delete emails from their Gmail inbox, grouped by sender. It is an independent product and is not affiliated with Google LLC.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use InboxReaper. By using the extension, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Your Google Account and Data

3.1 Authorisation

InboxReaper requires access to your Gmail account via Google's OAuth 2.0 authentication. By signing in, you authorise InboxReaper to read email metadata and move selected emails to your Gmail Trash. You can revoke this access at any time via myaccount.google.com/permissions.

3.2 Your Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the emails you choose to trash using InboxReaper. Trashed emails are moved to Gmail's Trash folder and are permanently deleted by Gmail after 30 days unless restored manually. We strongly recommend reviewing selections carefully before trashing.

3.3 No Warranty on Email Actions

While InboxReaper takes care to accurately identify and move selected emails, we cannot guarantee all actions will be executed without error. Gmail API rate limits, network interruptions, or other technical issues may cause some emails to not be trashed as expected.

4. Free Quota and Paid Access

4.1 Free Quota

InboxReaper provides a free quota of 300 emails that can be trashed across all sessions. This quota is tracked per Google account.

4.2 Unlimited Cleaning Pass

Once your free quota is exhausted, you may purchase a 48-hour Unlimited Cleaning Pass for ₹99. This pass:

• Grants unlimited email trashing for 48 hours from the time of purchase
• Is tied to your Google account
• Is valid across devices signed in with the same Google account
• Expires automatically after 48 hours

5. Payments and Refunds

5.1 Payment Processing

Payments are processed by Razorpay Financial Solutions Pvt. Ltd. We accept UPI, credit/debit cards, and net banking as supported by Razorpay.

5.2 No Refunds

5.3 Failed Payments

If your payment fails, no charges will be applied. If you are charged but do not receive access, contact us within 48 hours with your payment details.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use InboxReaper to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Access or trash emails belonging to accounts you do not own
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the extension or its backend
• Use automated scripts or bots beyond normal usage
• Circumvent or bypass the free quota or payment system

7. Intellectual Property

InboxReaper, including its name, logo, design, code, and content, is the intellectual property of its developers. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the extension for personal, non-commercial purposes.

8. Disclaimers

8.1 Service Availability

InboxReaper is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may suspend or discontinue the service at any time without notice.

8.2 No Endorsement by Google

InboxReaper is an independent product. It is not endorsed, certified, or affiliated with Google LLC. Google and Gmail are trademarks of Google LLC.

8.3 Email Loss

We are not responsible for any emails permanently deleted as a result of using InboxReaper. Gmail's 30-day Trash retention is your safety net. Use InboxReaper responsibly.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, InboxReaper and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of InboxReaper, including loss of data, emails, or revenue. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 30 days preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless InboxReaper and its developers from any claims, losses, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service or your violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without cause, if we believe you have violated these Terms or are using the service in a harmful manner.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Your continued use of InboxReaper after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
